Established in 2005, the WE CAN Exit Exam Boot Camp is a response to the abysmally high failure rates of inner-city Black and Brown students on the California High School Exit Exam. Students in grades 8-12 can participate in either individual or small group sessions specifically designed to provide mental focus and intensive skills development. Preparation is offered for both Mathematics and English Language Arts, with:

• Review and analysis of sample test questions;

• Discussions of calculations required to answer questions properly;

• Practice exercises to develop related skills;

• Practice sheets for home study.

Final sessions include an intensive practice test using actual CAHSEE-released exams.
